This competitive program is open to all rising high school juniors and seniors who are interested in taking their skills to the next level. To participate, interested students must submit a complete application and indicate their company/position of choice. What if there isn’t an internship that fits my interests/career path?

Is there an age limit?
All students who apply for the internship program must be at least 16 years of age. A select number of roles require students to be 18 to participate.




Jaipur Living
Sector: Wholesale Distribution
Job Type: Warehouse
Hours: Monday and Tuesdays from 8 am – 5 pm

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Adhere to safety standards to perform activities
  • Operates handling equipment and ensures safety regulations are followed
  • Ensures warehouse goals are met
  • Receive, put away, pick, pack, cycle count and re-stock product
  • Process, package and ship orders accurately
  • Pick rugs utilizing a handheld scanner (rugs can weigh anywhere from 6 lbs – 140 lbs; heavier rugs are picked with the help of an associate)
  • Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
  • Put rugs away in the proper bins for inventory accuracy
  • Organize stocks and maintain inventory
  • Corresponds with PD to unroll and roll rugs as needed to be placed in specified locations (racks and bins)
  • Inspect products for defects and damages. Records damaged items and move them accordingly
  • Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments
  • Maintains catalog request making sure they go out in a timely manner
  • Organize warehouse space
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
  • Performs all other duties as needed

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High school Juniors or Seniors
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Coordination, organization, planning and time management
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Ability to operate Order Picker forklift around the warehouse
  •  Ability to receive, put away, pick, pack, cycle count and re-stock product up to 25 feet height
  • Adaptability; flexible to shifting priorities and a changing environment
  • Must be computer literate; NAV experience is a plus


Maxis Engineering

R&D Mechanical Services
Sector: Manufacturing 
Job Type: Field Apprentice
Number of Internships: 2
Days Needed: Monday – Friday

Roles & Responsibilities

  • You will use your skills to complete scheduled commercial service, maintenance, and installation on a variety of HVAC/R equipment. You will represent R&D Mechanical Services, Inc. in the field, and it will be your responsibility to ensure that we are meeting our customers’ HVAC needs with Integrity.
  • You will perform routine preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment with assistance and supervision. This includes completing checklist sheets and building diagrams with equipment locations.
  • You will work with a variety of HVAC/R equipment and will be required to complete any supporting tasks required for installation.
  • Completing startup checklist sheets and building diagrams with equipment locations and details.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Ability to communicate instructions and directions both verbally and written
  • Ability to work independently with little direction
  • Enjoys working with hands, tools, and mechanical systems

Roytec Industries 
Sector: Manufacturing
Job Type: Warehouse/Engineering
Number of Internships: 10
Days Needed: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Role & Responsibilities: The opportunities in this position include a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing and Roytec’s role in the industry. The internship will commence with initial training on the core functions of production, followed by a scheduled rotation within each production area and supporting departments. Experience will include, but is not limited to, the following departments:

  • Production
  • Quality
  • Shipping / Receiving
  • Continuous Improvement

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Willingness to learn and exhibit teachable character
  • Meet the age 16 requirement for select plant floor production areas
  • Adhere to Roytec employee expectations and Policy Manual
  • General knowledge of measurements and measurement tools



Universal Alloy Corporation
