Annually the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce, Cherokee Office of Economic Development, along with event sponsor Georgia Power work together to distribute over 4,800 tokens of appreciation to 110 local businesses. This event, Operation Thank You, allows board member volunteers from above mentioned offices to personally thank each company for choosing Cherokee County as their business home and providing the economic viability and job stability to the area.
