Papa John’s Seeks To Hire 100 Employees For Distribution Center

ACWORTH, GA — The Georgia Department of Labor will host a recruitment and open house to hire 100 employees for Papa John’s new food service distribution center in southwest Cherokee County.

The recruitment will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 26 at the Papa John’s Quality Control Center at 1389 Highway 92 in Acworth.

GDOL staff will be on site to assist applicants. The employer is recruiting delivery specialists, distribution team members, industrial automation technicians, industrial maintenance supervisors, production operators, transportation supervisors and yard switchers.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health regulations, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. A high school diploma or a General Education Diploma is required for the distribution team members, industrial automation technicians, industrial maintenance supervisors, production operators and the transportation supervisors.

Experience varies on each position. Delivery specialist, distribution team members, industrial maintenance supervisors, production operators, transportation supervisors and yard switchers are all required to have at least two years of related experience. The industrial automation technicians are required to have at least three years of related experience.

Salaries will depend on the position and experience. Qualified applicants will have the opportunity to get face-to-face time with representatives from the company, as well as receive company background information.
